5 Things About How to Store Wines

Imaging getting off tired day soaked with professional business suits, pull a glass of wine, sit on the soft sofa. Enjoying the rest of the day when the time only belongs to your own. Some drops of wine flow down along the cup wall. You seem to be the protagonist in a movie. 
Most people have wines kept at home. Some of the wines are opened and resealed again. How to store wines will be important. There is five basic knowledge that you need to know to keep your fine wines at their best.

1.Right and Constant Temperature 
The ideal temperature range is between 45° F and 65° F. 55° F will be the perfect temperature. Don’t worry if you get a few degrees warmer. Never below 45° F! The low temperature will cause lack of moisture which might eventually dry out corks. The air will go inside of the bottle and damage the original taste of your wines. Using a wine cooler will be more convenient for you.

2. Keep in the High Humidity Environment
High humidity could prevent the cork from drying out and minimize evaporation. The best humidity level will be around 70%. Don’t make the humidity higher than 70%. High humidity will increase the growth of mold and cause the label to loosen.

3.Store wine bottles on their sides.
Horizontally put your wine into the wine cellars or wine racks will never harm your wines. Putting the bottles on their sides is to prevent the cork from drying out.

4. Don’t Move the Wine Frequently

Try not to move your wine frequently such as storing in different places periodically. As we just talked about before, the temperature is the key factor for storing wines. Moving wines may harm them by putting them in different environmental conditions. On top of cooked flavors, the expansion and contraction of the liquid inside the bottle might push the cork out or cause seepage.
5. Keep Away from Sunlight
The last but not the least that keeping wines away from sunlight. The UV rays will cause the wine to be “lightstruck”. The bad smell will come out soon. It may ruin the wine eventually. 
There are lots of things need to be noticed about storing wines. Try to use wine cooler or wine racks will be easier for you. Just put the wine into the cellar and close the door. Temperature and humidity will not be problems anymore. Or you can have the one with a modern system that includes a system to search particular wine for you. You do not need to spend a lot of time on searching wines.
