I especially enjoy this wonderful pick-me-up drink after I have spent hours working out in the yard. By adding ice cubes when mixing, I make a slushy version, which is soothing in the summer, when friends stop by or I’m just sitting on the porch relaxing.
Ingredients
2 cups orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
1-1/2 cups fresh strawberries
1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 cup chilled carbonated water
Directions
In a blender, combine the juices, strawberries and sugar. Cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a pitcher; stir in water. Serve in chilled glasses over ice.
Ingredients
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. fresh orange juice
2 oz. vodka
1 oz. orange liquor
lemon-lime soda
two slices each of a orange, lime and lemon
Directions
In a shaker with ice combine all ingredients except soda
Strain and divide in two highball glasses that have a slice of orange, lemon and lime
Top with lemon-lime soda, stir and serve
RASPBERRY ICE COOLER
Ingredients
1-2/3 cups water
1/3 cup grapefruit juice
1 pkt. (0.06 oz.) Raspberry Ice Flavor Drink Mix
Directions
Add water and juice to drink mix in large measuring cup; stir until mix is dissolved.
Serve over ice cubes in tall glasses.
STRAWBEERY ICE COOLER
Ingredients
20–30 strawberries, hulled
1 litre Sprite or 7-Up
juice of 1 lime
small handful of fresh mint leaves, torn for a stronger taste or leave whole
some ice cubes
Directions
Blend the strawberries down to a mushy mix in a blender or chopper. If you haven’t got one, a potato masher or a fork will do the job too.
Divide the mashed up strawberries among 4 glasses.
Follow with a squeeze of lime juice.
Place 2-3 ice cubes in each glass.
Place 3-4 mint leaves in each glass.
Top up with lemonade and serve immediately.
ORANGE ICE COOLER
Ingredients

1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup sugar
Directions
In a half-gallon pitcher, combine orange juice concentrate, lemon juice and sugar. Stir in enough water to make 1/2 gallon.
PINEAPPLE MANGO ICE COOLER
Ingredients
1 tablespoon lime juice
¼ cup unsweetened pineapple juice
½ cup fresh or frozen pineapple, in 1-inch cubes
½ cup fresh or frozen mango, in 1-inch cubes
1 packet zero calorie sweetener
½ cup crushed ice
1 mint sprig
Directions
Place the mango, pineapple, pineapple juice, lime juice, Sweet’N Low®, and ice in a blender. Whirl in blender until puree is smooth. Pour the blended drink into a tall glass. Garnish with the mint sprig.
