Life is full of challenges and in many ways it has an impact on us, its either we easily forget those situations or it takes time for us to heal from what has happened. Its like a roller coaster ride for some and for others it may be like a ship cruising along the sea with calmness but, may have waves that come back and forth.

My life is not a bed of roses, I had experienced the ups and downs in life, but, I always had that strong will to stand up strong even stronger. I remember someone telling me this line “Not all the time you are in that situation. that too will pass and just go through your life” in every problem we encounter we have to face it and deal with it. Always have the positive attitude then, life will be better.

When I was in the process of self healing, I tried a lot of means and ways, from cross-stitch, reading books, painting, sketching. writing poems, travelling, community service, cooking, badminton, swimming, outdoor activities, shopping, family activities and a lot more to make me feel better and in a way to divert my attention on things wherein I am productive or I enjoy doing it.

Self healing also means forgiving your self, accepting your imperfections, asking forgiveness if you hurt someone, letting go of what cannot be or what you cannot control and facing all of the challenges calmly.

I recall, being broken it was not easy it took years to heal but, I can finally say now I am “Okay” I have peace of mind and I may be facing life in a different perspective, I still have my kids, family and friends who are ever supportive of me.

Nowadays, I joined a community which help me to put myself back on track, after being broken and bruised, I am renewed and reborn, I can share my experiences to others so as to encourage and help them in their healing process. Seeing them makes me look back at what I have experienced and how I have surpassed it.  It was not easy but it was a learning experience. Live your life to the fullest…
